Was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis several years ago and went from Jakafi to Vonjo and now Ojjarra which for me had less side effects. My main problem aside from an enlarging spleen was constant anemia attacks. No energy to do much of anything. Looked everywhere. Called every clinic, here and outside the US. Spoke with many "foundational practicing doctors". None had any experience with Myelofibrosis. Then I got lucky and found Poly-Mva. As I write this, I have not had an anemia attack in 3 weeks. I won't try to explain it in words I still don't understand. Go to the website. Download the research. I made a copy and delivered it to my Oncologist who said it wouldn't hurt me. Am much like you, but just recently diagnosed. With Hydrea my counts have come down but the fatigue and the headaches have not gone away. Very disappointing--not sure if there is an answer to this question. Is top of my list to ask my doctor at upcoming appt. Maybe others with longer experience can answer. Wishing you the best.
