Is Anyone On Permanent Disability Due To Their MPN And All The Horrible Side Effects Of Hydroxyurea?
I looked into it following my diagnosis in 2018 and it seems that of the MPN’s the only one that qualified was MF. Things may have changed since then:/

Significant Change In Eyeglasses' Prescription?
Hello everyone:
I had my annual eye exam yesterday, and my eye doctor is quite concerned since my prescription has changed significantly in a year. She is scheduling me for more tests. She knows about my PV diagnosis (diagnosed in April 2024). I am on daily HU 500 mg and low-dose aspirin, which so far are keeping my numbers in check.
I noticed my vision getting blurrier and brought this up as well. I also have cataracts, but she told me they are not bad enough yet to correct.

I have ET with jak2 mutation. Have been on Hydrea since August.
Yes I have gained. Nurse practitioner tells me it's not from the HU, but I have asked in an online support group, and yes some people do gain weight on it.
Are UTI Infections Common When Taking Hydroxyurea?
I have ET JAK.

ET With MPL Mutation. I Have Such Achey Legs Sometimes, Similar To The Flu. Take Jakafi & Baby Aspirin. Anyone Else Have This Leg Pain?
