good morning. I have thrombocythemia and I take hydra. I've had hip pain for a while, plus I wake up with swollen hands

I had hip pain for a couple of years, but it seems to have improved since my RBC is close to normal level now. However, I have also had other inflammatory issues with a frozen shoulder and joint pain in my thumbs. I think it is related to the disease process and possibly cytokines/inflammation in the body. Hi those with bone pain…
I am on hydroxyurea and baby aspirin…my arms hurt at night and I have intense burning of arms,legs,feet at night. I’ve had the burning for a yr since diagnosed..but no better..looking for encouragement

Thanks Tim! I’ve been on the Hydrea about 10 weeks now. Had labs drawn today and see Dr this week, Hoping numbers are trending down.

I had hip pain and the top of my right foot was burning. After a few months on hydro it eased up and I am doing better. Platelets went into normal range.
