I Was Just Diagnosed With PV. After Two Phlebotomies A Week Apart, My HCT Is Over 55. Should I Be Getting Phoebotimies More Often Right Now?

It took me 4 phlebotomies to get my hematocrit down below 45. Once it gets down to that level hopefully the phlebotomies will be less frequent. Most important, check with your hematologist and keeping asking questions. Good luck!
