For 11+ years, I was on hydroxyure (aka Hydroxycarbamide orHU) for my ET. I've been off for about a year and a half, but the night (and day) sweats continue. I think that it's a symptom of the disease, rather than a side effect of treatment. The same might be true of itching, but that has not been a problem for me.
