Anyone Know About This?

Tx

I’m hearing a few times now a supplement called Natokinnese can be taken twice a day every 12 hours as a safer, nontoxic alternative to the daily baby aspirin for MPNs.

Apparently vit c aids in the production process of red cells along with iron. I’m certainly not an authority on anything. Just know what I’ve read so far. I have a long list of questions for hematologist . For my fresh diagnosis of PV I’m learning that slowing down the red production is first step. Quite different for ET diagnosis...I think?

I was excited to read/learn about this asprin alternative. I will certainly include this to my list of “things to talk about” with my specialist. From what I’ve read I have a concern about the ingredients contained in it. For me, having just received a PV diagnosis, iron is big no-no. Trying to deplete my iron stores. As well vitamin C is not recommended.

This enzyme has limited human studies, but looks like it has many positive benefits.

Thanks for this update & will be asking my ANP to see if she’s heard about this supplement, as aspirin can annoy the stomach. Will let you know if she has. 🤞
