Members shared varied experiences with blurred and double vision, with some attributing symptoms to their myeloproliferative neoplasm (MPN) through microvascular issues affecting the retina or nerves, while others linked vision changes to cataracts, fatigue, or medication side effects like hydroxyurea. Several members found hope in treatment, with one sharing how regular phlebotomies and aspirin significantly improved their polycythemia vera-related vision problems over time. A recurring theme was the importance of consulting specialists including ophthalmologists and possibly neuro-ophthalmologists to accurately diagnose whether vision issues stem from the MPN itself or other causes.

I do sometimes. It's when the fatigue is at its worst. So I do think it's ET related. I have had recent eye exams and all is fine.

Hi. I get double vision and blurred vision. It only lasts for a few minutes, and then returns to normal, but with a giant floater, that stays around for a few minutes and then it is . I have cataract surgery. If you take Hydroxy urea, it can cause these vision problems.
