In 2018 I Was Diagnosed With A Jak2 Mutation - Now It Is Not There - Any Thoughts On What Happened To It?

The JAK2 mutation does not just disappear without treatment as far as I know. I would wonder about a lab error. The JAK2 VAF is the % of hematopoietic stem cells that carry the JAK2 mutation. Not all of the cells are mutated. Some are wild type (normal). If your doctor order a JAK2 quantitative analysis it would show as a % on the report.

Steve - I don’t know the answer to your first question. The only treatment I have had is 10mg Xarelto since 2018 due to blood clots.

No - not really. If anything I’m more tired than I have ever been.

Would need more information to give a good answer. What was your JAK2 variant allele frequency when diagnosed? What treatment have you been using?

They say exposure to toxins from 20 or more years ago or possibly just age. Way more prevalent to get diagnosed after 60.
