Significant Change In Eyeglasses' Prescription?

Hello everyone:

I had my annual eye exam yesterday, and my eye doctor is quite concerned since my prescription has changed significantly in a year. She is scheduling me for more tests. She knows about my PV diagnosis (diagnosed in April 2024). I am on daily HU 500 mg and low-dose aspirin, which so far are keeping my numbers in check.

I noticed my vision getting blurrier and brought this up as well. I also have cataracts, but she told me they are not bad enough yet to correct.

Blurry vision is a symptom of PV. Also, dry eye can be a problem which can cause blurry vision. Some days are better than others for me.

Hi Marian
Just had my appointment with retina specialist. I’m having blurry vision also. Now taking prednisone drops. Don’t think it can get much better. But hope so. And for you also.

Had times where couldn't see when my platelets where high also blood was thick sed rate 101 at that time when eye where playing games

I do believe keeping Red blood cell counts in normal range helps.

I have trouble with my eyes and it's hard to explain. It's so hard to get my prescription right.
