Why Do People Rely So Much On Technology, Sure It Has Its Advantages, But "over Reliance" On Them Cause Disinformation, Mistranslation, Etc?
Since I was diagnosed in 2021, I have been hoping for technological advances (including use of AI) to get to a cure for MPN’s.
I do think there is potential for too much online surfing and getting consumed with all the information that is out there and sorting out what is most helpful. It can create both stress and disappointment in trying to relate certain information to our own situations. I feel like I’ve been down this road at times and need to lay off the online surfing a bit.
Like what? Drugs? Personally I turned my diet around completely and it made a huge difference. But there is a huge push now at MD Anderson to do new research with AI and Genetics. That's what patients, including myself, have stated they want. For blood cancer patients it should make transplants much easier. I'll take it. https://www.mdanderson.org/cancerwise/what-is-t...
