I Have Tried Everything For Itching It Is At It Worse With Bathing.
I recently started taking Jakafi in hopes that it would help with some of my symptoms. I have myelofibrosis, high platelets but I need help with the itching feels like stings and pins under my skin, it has me so depressed!! It has affected my daily living. I am taking antihistamines, hydroxyzine 2x’s a day.. I have purchased every moisturizer on the market. I need help as I can’t take it! Please let me know if there is something I’m missing?
Jakafi is the only medication that helped my itching. Within the first few weeks of taking it I had immediate relief. As you mentioned, the itching (stinging pins and needles) affected my daily living. I found that taking showers at night helped, because the mornings were always the worst. It's also keeping my blood levels under control. It's made a big difference for me. Hopefully, it works for you as well.
