I didn't have to go off Jakafi, it just wasn't working for me in lowering my platelets. You can get more info at jakafi.com. If it's working for you, fantastic!

Did you have to get off Jakafi?! I've been on it for about a year and a half now. Just wondering what I have to look forward to.

I gained weight on Jakafi; I think it's a pretty well-accepted side effect. I also have vision issues, but I've been off Jakafi for a long time, so I don't ascribe it to the drug.

I'm 73 also. Don't know if it's my age or the meds or just the progression of PV.

Hi Linda, yes my vision has dropped to 20/40. Accommodation loss (I’m 73) and early AMD ( macular degeneration). I do take Jakafi.
