I Have PV. My Bloods Are Good. Can I Still Suffer With Double And Blurred Vision.
I Have double vision when watching TV and when riding in a car..It is nearly always there.. My optician says eyes are healthy.
Hello Marjorie,
I’ve had PV for four years, and my vision has definitely decreased during that time. I’ve been under the care of an ophthalmologist for several years for another eye condition, but the blurriness and frequent “floaters” that I have now have only been an increasing issue. My doctor prescribed an over-the-counter eye drop called “Muro 128” which is a lifesaver to clearing my vision for a few hours. When vision begins to blur, it immediately helps.
Hi Marjorie
I am in the same position and seeing an ophthalmologist in a couple of weeks. If you're comfortable sharing, I am wondering if you were able to get any answers to your double vision and how your vision is now.
Thank you. I am seeing a new hematologist next week . Hopefully they will recommend who to make an appointment with.
If I were you, Marjorie, I would see preferably an ophthalmologist in preference to an optician. Google the difference in level of care. The optician primarily fits you for eyeglasses and usually cannot prescribe. You really need to see a medical doctor, the ophthalmologist, especially with your other conditions. I have blurred vision increasingly with my PV and see that kind of doctor each year and more often. 🤔
